Everyone should try ceramics, it can center your life.

Mudslingers began in 1997 with John Hansen in Denver CO.  Since then, we have helped hundreds of people learn the 26000 year tradition.   We work with small groups of 2 to 12 people so we can focus on the foundation of throwing and hand building.

We offer workshops, classes and memberships.  Workshops are 2 hours long and is a great introduction to the throwing process.    Classes are 5 weeks and you will learn bowls and cylinders, two of the three basic shapes.

If ceramics is something you want to get good at, we offer memberships where you can spend as much time as you need to practice and make what you want.  We will help you with a plan so you practice, learn and get better over time with our monthly member workshops.

Brook Corson

Hello! My name is Brooke, I discovered my love for ceramics while attending Owen J. Roberts High School, was a teaching assistant during my senior year, and after graduation I took time away from my academics to work at a daycare. This opened my eyes to my love for children and education. I am currently studying Art Education with a focus in Ceramics at Kutztown University. In my free time, I enjoy doing art, baking, spending time in nature, and being with my animals. I have a love for cats and reptiles. I am looking forward to being in the studio and being able to share my passion with others!

Jeff White

Jeff has taught ceramics since 1998. He holds a BA in operations management from the University of Minnesota. Jeff started with Mudslingers when it opened in 1997. He works in the restaurant, bar, and theater industry and has been a kitchen manager, general manager, and regional director. Jeff brings entertainment and hospitality to the classroom. If he could, he would serve food and drinks to each wheel just to make everyone’s day.

Alex White

Alex helps with kids classes and managing the studio. She holds a doctorate in Physical Therapy and when not helping at the studio, she works in the health care industry. Pottery offers a way to connect with people, learn an ancient art and make things to use in your daily life.
